MEASURE all types of sound, check that LEGAL LIMITS
in factories and residential areas are met, compare lawn mowers, paper
shredders etc, measure the effect of sound proofing or double glazing.
HAND HELD self contained unit has "A" weighted frequency
response to compare both low and high frequency annoyance.
CALIBRATOR is built-in, linear measurement range from 40 dB (public
library) to 120 dB (overhead jet take-off).
PEAK sound response, even with pulsating or irregular soungs, just
set knob to dB, LED flashes when sound exceeded, or turn knob till LED
flashes and read dB, no flickering needle.
DATA output shows when dB exceeded, for computer. applause timing, "Wear
Ear Defenders" sign, intruder alarm, FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY, disco
lights, chart recorder etc.
DESIGNED to BS 5969, internal battery or 9 V at 20 mA, 4 x 7 x
14 cm, 300 g.
The kit includes all parts, case, microphone, connectors, screws, wire etc,
and the detailed assembly and operating instructions
include a circuit diagram and description.
The kit includes a ready-cut piece of copper laminate
and full size foil pattern for easy drawing,
etching and drilling of the circuit board.
The circuit board is 95 mm long, single sided with wide tracks
and generous spacings
as shown here
